Download the app, verify your identity, and add funds. You can top up using a bank transfer in USD or EUR, or by sending USDC directly from a crypto wallet. Once your balance is ready, you can scan and pay any supported local QR instantly.

Your balance is kept in USDC, a regulated digital version of the US dollar backed one-to-one by real reserves. When you pay, WanderWallet instantly converts the exact amount into local currency at the market rate, so the merchant receives a normal local payment. Everything happens automatically inside the app.

Yes. Your funds are securely stored in regulated digital dollars (USDC). WanderWallet never takes direct custody of your funds. Even if the app went offline, your money would remain safely stored and only you would continue to have access to it.

Opening an account is free. You pay a small transparent fee only when converting currency during payments or withdrawals. The total amount, including fees, is always shown before you confirm a transaction.

QR payments are now accepted almost everywhere across Brazil and Argentina. If a merchant does not use them yet, WanderWallet allows you to send a direct local transfer via Pix so you can still complete your payment easily. Direct transfers in Argentina coming soon!

If a merchant issues a refund, you will see it appear in your app once the process is complete. When the refund is ready, you can claim it directly inside the app and the funds will return to your balance in USD.

WanderWallet currently works in Brazil and Argentina, supporting Pix and Transferencias 3.0 (Mercado Pago, MODO,…) payments. We are expanding to Peru and Colombia next, with Mexico and Chile on the roadmap. You can add or hold funds from anywhere in the world.
