Pending payments usually resolve automatically. If a payment fails, funds are returned according to payment status, and support can help if anything looks off. If a merchant issues a refund, the refunded amount is automatically credited back to your WanderWallet balance.

Can foreigners pay with Bre-B or Nequi in Colombia?

WanderWallet is launching Colombia support around direct Bre-B transfers, so travelers can pay supported local recipients without opening a Colombian bank account.

What should I ask for at a Colombian checkout?

Ask for the merchant’s Bre-B llave. If they say Nequi, Daviplata, Bancolombia, or give you a phone number, that number may also work as a Bre-B payment key.

Why does WanderWallet start with transfers instead of QR in Colombia?

Colombia has several QR types, and they are not always clearly marked. Only some are Bre-B-compatible. Transfers and llaves are easier to verify and support reliably at launch.

What if the recipient name is masked?

For personal Bre-B payments, names may be partially masked, such as J**** S****** B****. Compare the initials with what the merchant tells you and do not confirm if the visible details do not match.

Do I need a Colombian bank account?

No. WanderWallet is designed for travelers who need to pay through local rails in Colombia without opening a Colombian bank account.
