Referrals Are Live: Invite a Friend, You Both Get $5

News Published May 21, 2026 Updated May 23, 2026

We’re happy to announce that WanderWallet referrals are now live.

The idea is simple. If WanderWallet has been helpful in your travels, a friend could use the same thing. Now when you bring them in, you both get a reward.

Invite a Friend, You Both Get $5

Invite a friend to WanderWallet. When they sign up with your code and hit the milestone, you each get $5. There’s no cap on how many people you can invite.

How It Works

Your referral code is already set up. Find it in your account settings and share it with a friend.

When they sign up with your code and make 5 payments at 5 different merchants, adding up to at least $20, the reward unlocks for both of you.

The $5 shows up as a claim inside the app. You tap to claim it. Same for your friend.

What Counts

Real spending counts: paying a café in São Paulo, a market stall in La Paz, a restaurant in Buenos Aires. Five different merchants, at least $4 each, $20 or more total.

What doesn’t count: sending money to other WanderWallet users, withdrawing, or payments that fail or get reversed.

How to Share Your Code

Open WanderWallet, go to your account settings, and find your referral code. Send it to people who’d genuinely use it: friends heading to Brazil, Argentina, or Bolivia, students on a long stay, anyone tired of tourist-level payment friction.

Full program details are in our referral terms.
